* Tradtional HW starts Monday!
* I will update Bible Memory and Spelling lists tomorrow
Today, students worked hard on Math Diagnostics. We had our first day of Art. Students performed a skit in Bible. We practiced "Reading to Self." Great job students on having a "can-do" attitude! I know the first week can be challenging: adjusting to a new schedule, learning new routines, and practicing/repeating until correct. 4.2 kids demonstrate "hard-work" daily. Keep it up, guys! We have several class cheers...feel free to have students demonstrate!
Pictures from today can be found on the "Class Pictures" Page!
Upcoming Events: Open House! Friday, September 1st, 2017
HW: Artifact to share. Traditional homework begins next week!
GOD IS GREAT! We had a marvelous first day. Students began working on their "Selfie" pages to share at open house. We had our first "Morning Meeting." We will have "Morning Meetings" every day. They include: greetings, sharing, a group activity, a message and prayer. We learned some of our fun procedures such as "give me five!" Students enjoyed recess. Please remind students that they are not to leave recess unless directly permitted by the recess teachers. Students unpacked supplies, took a brain break, worked collaboratively in groups to answer questions, and had an excellent chapel. THANK YOU PARENTS for all of your work and support. I look forward to working with you all to facilitate student growth and empower student growth!
P.S.- Here are 3 of the songs we sang in chapel today :)
